Responsibilities Job Title: Software Developer Intern Reports to: Product Development Leader FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Summary
DeepHealth is seeking a Software Developer Intern for Summer 2026 to join our Seattle-area engineering team. This is a hands-on, in-person role focused on building and shipping production-grade systems in a fast-paced healthcare AI environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interns will contribute directly to live product development in one of the following areas:
Build and deploy AI agents on real-world healthcare datasets
Develop orchestration logic and evaluation pipelines
Integrate LLM-powered workflows into production systems
Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs
Build responsive front-end applications
Contribute to cloud-native architectures and CI/CD pipelines
Across both tracks, interns will:
Write clean, testable, production-quality code
Participate in design reviews and system architecture discussions
Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams
Deliver a high-impact project by the end of the internship

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms
Experience in one or more of: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C++
Ability to work on-site in the Seattle/Bothell area for the full internship
Preferred: Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), modern web frameworks, or AI/ML frameworks.

Consistently adheres to the time management policies and procedures.
Completes job responsibilities in a quality and timely manner.
Physical Demands This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
This is a 3 month assignment starting June of 2026 in our Seattle / Bothell, WA office. ACCOMMODATIONS
