Requirements
Must have:
- We need 10+ years of experience in software development and application design with Java/J2EE and Spring/Spring Boot.
- We are looking for at least 5+ years of experience as an Application Architect or Technical Lead.
- We require strong expertise in microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
- We need hands-on experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or MQ.
- We require cloud-native design experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- We expect knowledge of OAuth2, SAML, and JWT, with a strong focus on application security.
- We need experience with relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps, and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- We require the ability to develop solution roadmaps and thorough design documentation.
- Preferred experience includes UML, sequence and ER diagrams, and API design with Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Familiarity with Git or Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments is preferred.
- Background in application modernization, cloud migration, domain-driven design, and API-first governance is preferred.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- We lead end-to-end application architecture for multi-tier and microservices-based solutions.
- We define integration approaches, REST APIs, and event-driven designs using Kafka or MQ.
- We create architecture diagrams, high-level and low-level designs, and reference architectures.
- We partner with business, engineering, and solution teams to ensure designs align with enterprise standards.
- We conduct architectural reviews, uncover technical debt, and recommend remediation actions.
- We guide cloud-native architecture decisions across AWS, Azure, or GCP with security built in from the start.
- We support performance, scalability, and reliability engineering across platforms.
- We mentor engineers and help shape enterprise-wide architecture practices.
