About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Java Spring Boot Microservices Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable, cloud-ready enterprise applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have between 4 to 6 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on microservices architecture, REST APIs, and modern DevOps practices. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects utilizing the latest cloud technologies and contribute to the digital transformation initiatives of our clients.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Candidates must have 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Java development, specifically with Java 8 or higher versions. Proven expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, and Spring Security is essential. Familiarity with microservices architecture, REST API development, and cloud-native application deployment is required.

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, containerization tools like Docker, orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift, and CI/CD pipelines is also necessary. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in an agile environment are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Build and optimize scalable, resilient microservices-based architectures to support business needs.
• Create, test, and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with external systems and services.
• Implement security protocols, including authentication and authorization mechanisms, to safeguard applications and data.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through code improvements and infrastructure enhancements.
• Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical troubleshooting to maintain high-quality standards.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and facilitate continuous deployment.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native deployment strategies, and infrastructure automation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
