Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using
Java and Spring Boot
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, and product owners
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
- Work with databases such as
Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Implement business logic, validations, and error-handling mechanisms
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality standards
- Perform unit and integration testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–8 years of experience in
Java Development
- Recent hands-on experience (within last 1–2 years) in Java/Spring Boot is mandatory
- Strong experience with
Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices architecture
- Experience with
RESTful API development
- Hands-on experience with
Hibernate/JPA
- Strong knowledge of
Core Java, Java 8+
- Experience with relational databases (
Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
)
- Familiarity with
Git, GitHub, GitLab
- Experience working in
Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with
Kafka, RabbitMQ
- Exposure to
AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with
Docker, Kubernetes
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies (
React/Angular
) is a plus
- Experience in
Banking/Finance domain
is a plus
