The Role

Be the internal Backend architecture expert, driving standards

Improve the quality of internal software by reshaping legacy areas

Own reliability and performance by identifying bugs & issues and improving the company UX

Mentor junior engineers, leading by example and sharing best practice

Collaborate with product & design teams to ensure requirements are clear and executed successfully

Be a clear and concise communicator, essential for a remote position across multiple time zones

What You'll Need

Bachelor's Degree

5-10+ years Java development & backend engineering experience

Expertise in Java and experience with at least one additional backend and frontend language

Experience improving legacy codebases

Microservices architecture knowledge and expertise

Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes & AWS
