• Preferred experience includes legacy modernization and mainframe-to-cloud migration.

• Preferred experience includes SSO, Active Directory integration, MFA, and RBAC.
• Preferred experience includes data migration, reconciliation, and auditability practices.
• Exposure to hybrid Agile and Waterfall delivery models is preferred.

Responsibilities:

- We will design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

• We will build and improve RESTful APIs for large-scale enterprise integrations.
• We will develop responsive, accessible, and intuitive front-end applications with Angular.
• We will ensure our applications align with WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility requirements.
• We will design, optimize, and support database structures, queries, and stored procedures in MS SQL Server and Azure SQL.
• We will integrate enterprise systems with external platforms through REST APIs, database connections, and CSV-based exchanges.
• We will help migrate data from legacy and mainframe platforms into modern cloud environments.
• We will implement and maintain security controls such as RBAC, MFA, SSO, Active Directory integration, and audit logging.
• We will deploy, monitor, and support applications in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• We will use Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerized deployments.
• We will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build and release processes.
• We will perform unit testing, integration testing, defect remediation, and support user acceptance testing.
• We will collaborate with business users, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• We will create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment guides.

Company:

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to support a strategic modernization program replacing a legacy enterprise platform with a modern cloud-based solution. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity, available on a W2 basis only, with hybrid consideration across Basking Ridge, NJ; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Wilmington, DE; and Stamford, CT. You will work in a client-facing environment alongside stakeholders in a hybrid Agile and Waterfall delivery model, contributing to a high-impact modernization effort that spans full-stack development, cloud deployment, system integration, and legacy-to-cloud migration.
