Java Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Java Full Stack Developer with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our team onsite at UPC. You will build scalable applications end to end across backend, frontend, data, and cloud, while championing a culture of first-time-right, zero-defect delivery.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java and Angular
• Build and integrate REST APIs and messaging-based services (Kafka)
• Work on large-scale data processing with Apache Spark
• Develop and optimize database solutions across MongoDB, MySQL, and Oracle
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to drive high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to ship production-ready, defect-free releases

Must-Have Skills

• Java 8 with very strong Core Java / J2EE fundamentals
• Spring Boot, plus expertise in at least two of: Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Struts
• Angular 8
• Apache Spark
• MongoDB and MySQL
• Very strong Oracle database skills
• REST APIs
• Messaging services (Kafka)
• AWS SDK (basic) and Azure SDK (basic)

Good to Have

• Docker
• IoT experience; Azure IoT Hub and Azure Event Hub are a plus
• ETL tools
• Linux basics
• Data analytics (Tableau)
• Integration testing
• Web Services or JMS
• Agile development methodology
