Job Title: Senior Java Full Stack Developer / Data Architect

Location: Rutherford, NJ (Onsite/Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Developer with strong Data Architecture expertise to design, develop, and scale enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on experience in Java technologies, microservices architecture, and data-driven systems, with a preference for candidates having banking domain experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java and modern front-end frameworks
• Architect scalable, high-performance systems with a focus on data flow and microservices
• Build responsive UI components using technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and implement microservices-based architecture
• Integrate real-time data pipelines using Kafka
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and QA
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries for performance and scalability
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure code quality through testing (JUnit) and reviews
• Develop Unix shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
• Ensure application security, scalability, and performance best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java development
• Strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
• Solid experience in full stack development (frontend + backend)
• Hands-on experience with RESTful services and microservices architecture
• Experience with Kafka integration
• Proficiency in JUnit and CI/CD tools
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as DB2 and PostgreSQL
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Banking or financial services domain experience
• Exposure to XML and JSON-based data processing
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of messaging systems and distributed systems design
