Java Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong backend development expertise and basic hands-on experience in React.js. The candidate will primarily focus on designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based enterprise applications, with limited involvement in front-end development using React.

Key Responsibilities

Java Backend Development – 85%

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Core Java and J2EE.
• Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Implement microservices architecture and develop scalable backend components.
• Work with Hibernate/JPA for database integration and persistence.
• Write optimized SQL queries and work with relational databases.
• Implement exception handling, logging, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Develop unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and application design.
• Follow coding standards, secure development practices, and Agile methodologies.

React Frontend Development – 15%

• Basic hands-on experience in developing and maintaining React.js components.
• Understand React hooks, functional components, and state management fundamentals.
• Integrate React applications with Java-based REST APIs.
• Perform minor UI enhancements, bug fixes, and frontend troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Required Technical Skills Java – Strong Expertise

• Core Java, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
• Microservices and REST API development.
• Hibernate/JPA.
• SQL and relational databases.
• Maven/Gradle, Git, JUnit, and Mockito.

React – Basic to Intermediate Knowledge

• React.js fundamentals.
• JavaScript (ES6+).
• Functional components and React Hooks.
• HTML5 and CSS3.
• REST API integration.

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of application architecture and design patterns.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Experience And Qualifications

• 4–8 years of overall software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Working knowledge of React.js for frontend enhancements and integrations.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
