Hybrid/Local Java Full Stack Developer with Oracle/SQL, Spring Boot/data JPA/Security, Angular, Node.js, Maven, Agile, WebSphere/WAS, and healthcare Experience

Location: Austin, TX (HHSC)

Duration: 6 months The position will be 5 days remote and expected to be onsite Tuesdays. Prefer candidates who are within the state (any location within the State of Texas).

Years Required/Preferred Experience

6 Required Experience as Full Stack Developer in Java

6 Required Experience in writing SQL for Oracle relational databases

6 Required Experience in Spring Boot with Spring Data JPA, Spring Security

4 Required Experience in Angular with Node JS

4 Required Experience with Maven and auto-build processing

4 Required Experience with software development using Agile methodology

4 Preferred Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server

2 Preferred Experience with Texas Health and Human Services or other State Agency

Name of project: Medicaid/CHIP Systems (ITMCS) – Contract Administration & Provider Monitoring (CAPM) Tool The Information Technology (IT) Applications, Medicaid/CHIP Systems (IT-MCS) team is developing a new web-based application for HHSC Contract Administration and Provider Monitoring (CAPM).

The selected candidate must possess knowledge and experience in web application architecture, development, and implementation with JAVA/J2EE, Angular, Spring Boot, Bootstrap, IBM WebSphere, and Oracle databases in an Agile project development environment. You will support the application development through coding, testing, code peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis and troubleshooting as required. Selected candidate must be available for on-call support as needed and perform other duties as required for the project.
