About the Role

We are seeking a talented Java Developer to join a large-scale modernization initiative within a leading financial institution's Connected Commerce Payments team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java
• Spring Boot
• Microservices Architecture
• REST API Development
• Strong Database experience (Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience with system design and application development
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC
• CI/CD experience
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
• Build and enhance Spring Boot Microservices and RESTful APIs
• Develop secure, high-quality production code
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Work with large datasets and optimize application performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Contribute to CI/CD, resiliency, and cloud adoption initiatives
• Support modernization efforts and migration to cloud-native architectures
