Java Full Stack Developer with React.js

About The Role

As a Java Full Stack Developer with React.js, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.js. You will be a valued member of the application development team and work collaboratively with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and distributed delivery teams to build secure, reliable, and high-quality digital solutions.

In This Role, You Will

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices that support scalable, business-critical applications.
• Perform hands-on coding, debugging, unit testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams, provide technical guidance, resolve development challenges, and support successful delivery within an Agile environment.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring three days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Irving, Texas. What You Need To Have To Be Considered

• Eight or more years of experience in full-stack application development, with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and enterprise application development.
• Strong experience developing user interfaces using React.js, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, code-quality practices, Git, and continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Ability to analyze business requirements, design technical solutions, work independently, and collaborate effectively with onsite and offshore teams in an Agile or Scrum environment.

These will help you stand out

• Experience implementing AI chatbots or Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions.
• Exposure to generative AI technologies and Large Language Model integrations.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployments.
• Experience mentoring, supporting distributed teams, and leading technical discussions.
