Requirements
Must have:
- We need a minimum of 10 years of experience in Java application development and object-oriented programming.
- We are looking for strong expertise in Core Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, ORM, MVC, integration, batch, and services.
- We require experience with SOA, REST and SOAP services, JSON, and XML.
- Hands-on experience with Drools or another rules engine is required.
- We value experience with UI technologies such as AngularJS, Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and platforms is expected.
- Experience using Bitbucket or Git for source control is required.
- We look for familiarity with Maven, test-driven development, continuous integration, and JUnit.
- NoSQL experience with Cassandra is required.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server is required.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka and MQ is required.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments across the full SDLC is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams are required.
- Preferred: experience leading feature teams as an individual contributor.
- Preferred: experience deploying applications to cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and oversight for feature delivery.
- Design, build, and support complex Java applications and services.
- Uphold coding standards, code quality, and engineering best practices across the team.
- Align technical solutions with business objectives and nonfunctional requirements.
- Mentor team members and help drive iterative delivery using Agile practices.
