Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience - Six to eight years of relevant experience - Strong skills in native frameworks (API, unit testing, deployment, etc.) - Proficient in programming with Kotlin - Familiarity with the MVVM pattern and data structures with solid OOP principles - Experience with Android performance tools and optimization - Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK - Experience with Jetpack Components (Compose, ViewModel, Room, Navigation, etc.) - Expertise in MVVM, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles - Proficient in consuming REST APIs and handling offline caching - Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito - Demonstrated success in delivering complex full stack mobile applications across native and server-side components - In-depth understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and best practices - Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles - Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, test, develop, and maintain high-quality software products - Take full-stack ownership by consistently producing production-ready and testable code - Utilize technical expertise and leadership skills to resolve issues and meet product goals - Mentor junior engineers to elevate the engineering standard within the organization - Drive both high-level and detailed technical designs, conduct technical reviews, and define solution requirements - Establish the teams roadmap in alignment with the companys technology vision - Ensure that all product development adheres to compliance and security best practices - Maintain a relentless focus on software reliability engineering standards throughout the development process - Embrace new technology opportunities and contribute to best practices supporting the banks technology transformation
