Lead Data Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

- Must hold a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph (or the ability to obtain one) - Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline - At least 3 years of experience in data engineering analysis (an additional 4 years of experience may substitute the educational requirements) - Proven experience utilizing various data engineering technologies and tools (such as SQL, NoSQL, HPC, etc.) and a comprehensive understanding of the ETL process

Responsibilities:

- Design and optimize data throughput and query performance - Participate in the selection, configuration, and usage of backend database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, HPC, etc.) - Enhance the data pipeline infrastructure to effectively support data content, volume, ETL processes, and periodicity for intended queries and analyses - Collaborate with data users to define, create, and implement optimal data architectures and systems
