Lead DevOps Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

- We need 7+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles.

• We require proven experience delivering cloud migration initiatives from on-premise or legacy environments to Azure or AWS.
• We value strong hands-on expertise with AWS.
• We need experience supporting large-scale or enterprise-level migration programs.
• We require solid practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• We need experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• We require proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• We need strong scripting ability in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• We value experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Azure Monitor.
• We require a sound understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
• We prefer candidates who can work collaboratively with engineering and architecture teams.
• We expect the ability to troubleshoot complex migration challenges and support reliable cutover planning.

Responsibilities:

- We lead and support the migration of on-premise or legacy systems into Azure and AWS environments.

• We design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure aligned with migration objectives.
• We build and improve CI/CD pipelines to support efficient delivery after migration.
• We define and deploy Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• We partner with engineering and architecture teams to shape migration approaches such as rehost, replatform, and refactor.
• We help ensure stability, performance, and security throughout the migration lifecycle and beyond.
• We manage containerization and orchestration activities using Docker and Kubernetes where needed.
• We establish monitoring, logging, and alerting for migrated environments.
• We identify migration risks, investigate issues, and drive smooth cutover execution.
• We optimize infrastructure and application migration to minimize disruption and maintain high reliability.

We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer with deep cloud migration experience to help us transition existing systems into modern cloud environments. In this role, we focus on planning, executing, and refining infrastructure and application migrations while minimizing disruption and maintaining high reliability. You will work closely with our engineering and architecture teams on large-scale migration efforts spanning Azure and AWS, using modern cloud, automation, containerization, and observability practices to strengthen our platform during and after the move.
