Lead Program Manager

Peerless Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Program Manager to support the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center AFNWC The successful candidate will oversee cost schedule and performance for engineering and software development efforts while providing leadership to a multidisciplinary team of software modeling and simulation M&S and technical subject matter experts Key Responsibilities Lead program execution with responsibility for cost schedule and performance objectivesDevelop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules IMS resource plans milestones and program baselinesConduct critical path analysis schedule risk assessments and proactively address program risks and dependenciesMonitor program costs funding and performance and prepare monthly status updatesProvide day to day leadership supervision and resource management for multidisciplinary technical teamsSupport recruiting onboarding personnel development and allocation of resources across software M&S and technical disciplinesEnsure program execution complies with contract PWS CDRL and Government requirementsOversee the preparation and on time delivery of CDRLs status reports planning documents presentations and technical deliverablesCoordinate with Government CORs Program Managers and contracting personnel regarding program status contract modifications task order changes and prioritiesLead program status meetings and reviews providing clear updates on cost schedule technical progress risks and mitigation strategiesServe as the primary point of contact for programmatic matters and maintain strong relationships with Government and corporate stakeholdersEnsure technical plans estimates schedules and deliverables are realistic and aligned with program objectivesRequirements US CitizenshipActive Top Secret security clearanceDemonstrated experience managing personnel resources contracts and complex DoD programsBachelors degree or higher PMP certification or significant DoD program management experience12 years of experience managing cost schedule and performance for DoD projects major weapons systems or major programs preferredExperience developing and managing integrated schedules and program controls using tools such as MS Project Primavera or equivalentExperience leading and supervising technical teamsExperience working under US Government contracts and coordinating with Government CORsPMsStrong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to develop and brief program status reports and presentations
