About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Python Full Stack Developer to join an application development team supporting a suite of tools for managing security journaling across multiple channels.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Python full-stack development, application design, database development, and technical problem-solving. This role requires someone who can work closely with users and technology teams, contribute to the full software development lifecycle, and provide technical leadership to development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to all aspects of application development, including functional and technical specifications, design, development, and implementation.
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python and modern web technologies.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable application solutions.
• Design, develop, and modify database structures based on application requirements.
• Work with relational databases such as DB2 and SQL Server.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate directly with users and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in application design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Work effectively with geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to development best practices.
• Ensure application deliverables meet quality, performance, and timeline expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as a Python Full Stack Developer.
• Strong analysis, design, and application development skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Hands-on experience with Python full-stack development.
• Strong database development experience, preferably with DB2 and/or SQL Server.
• Ability to design new or modify existing database tables and structures to meet application requirements.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed development teams across different time zones.
• At least 3 years of experience collaborating with distributed/global teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a Lead Developer / Technical Lead capacity.
• Experience working directly with business users and technology stakeholders.
• Experience developing enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and application architecture.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative development environment.
