Requirements
Must have:
- We require hands-on experience in software development, including working with REST API-based services and managing full application stacks from the operating system through custom applications.
We require at least 5 years of experience building large-scale, multi-tier distributed software systems with distributed programming expertise.
We require experience working with AWS technologies.
We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
We prefer prior experience mentoring or serving as a technical lead for engineering teams.
We prefer experience guiding engineering discussions on technology choices and product strategy.
We prefer a strong track record of collaborating across cross-functional teams and working effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
We prefer experience taking a lead role in delivering complex software or computing infrastructure that has been successfully released to customers.
We prefer experience managing several projects simultaneously through prioritization, planning, and task delegation.
We prefer experience building test frameworks, test tools, and leading QA initiatives.
We prefer a history of delivering customer-focused software products at scale in a fast-moving, technology-driven, high-growth environment.
We prefer experience with machine learning and related engineering skill sets.
We prefer full-stack proficiency, including Java, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Node.js.

We identify technical needs and bring practical solutions forward.
We define the technical strategy for our team.
We help shape and maintain the audio listening platform that serves millions of listeners.
We support the end-to-end listening experience across web, iOS, Android, and FireOS.
We contribute to content security, digital rights management, delivery infrastructure, and synchronization of listening data across devices at scale.
We lead the team through obstacles and help drive the development of original, effective technical solutions.
