Lead Software Test Engineer (Automation Focus)

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline and 14 years of relevant experience in large-scale space-based and ground-based systems engineering - Experience in Agile software development - Proficient in developing test planning and documentation - Expertise in software test requirements formulation - Knowledgeable in software test engineering processes and tool development - Familiarity with Department of Defense Test & Evaluation - Must pass a security background investigation for SCI eligibility - Willingness to be nominated for Sensitive Compartment Information access and consent to a Polygraph examination - Preferred: ITEA Certified Test & Evaluation Professional or INCOSE Certified Systems Engineer Professional credentials

Responsibilities:

- Create and document software test strategy and plans, ensuring alignment with development contractor requirements and government documentation - Collaborate with development contractors to align developmental software test objectives with applicable standards and policies - Partner with government software test agencies to develop effective software test methodologies meeting program manager expectations - Lead and participate in software test working groups to plan and discuss software testing initiatives
