Linux HPC cluster administration for CAE (engineering simulation) applications for : 6 months:
Administration of : 100 RedHat Linux nodes with GigE/Infiniband interconnect
Monitoring and ensuring smooth operation:
setting up alerts, resource utilization reports
application not running, cannot connect
Build experience (compilers/linkers/makefiles)
Setting up web pages with apache o Scripting with shell, java script, perl
Experience with job scheduler for HPC like Slurm/LSF
Some exposure to CAE applications (like CFD ACE/Ansys/NASTRAN...)
Planning to onboard by first week of July
Needs to work with users to understand and address any issues related to the setup
There is an existing cluster setup of : 32 nodes and it is being expanded. Current setup uses IBM LSF (aka platform LSF) but planning to switch to Slurm
