- We require a bachelors degree and at least 4 years of hands-on experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x, 8.x, or 9.x with strong command-line proficiency; we may accept 2 additional years of experience in place of the degree.
We require experience hardening Linux environments in alignment with DISA STIG standards.
We require practical experience with Red Hat ecosystem tools such as Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.
We require familiarity with at least one scripting language, such as Python, Perl, or bash.
We require experience working with virtualization platforms such as VMware, KVM, or Proxmox.
We prefer experience with monitoring platforms such as Icinga2 or Nagios.
We prefer an interest in, or prior exposure to, DevOps and automation practices.
We prefer familiarity with DIACAP and/or RMF accreditation processes, including STIG-compliant Linux configuration.
We prefer experience building and maintaining a secure, standardized operating system image process.
We prefer experience installing, configuring, and administering PostgreSQL.
We require an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
We require the ability to perform sedentary work.
Responsibilities:
- We maintain, update, and secure existing Linux systems across classified and unclassified networks in support of cyber investigations and operations.
We optimize Linux environments to deliver strong performance while minimizing downtime.
We support process improvements through innovative technical contributions and surge assistance on special initiatives within our area of expertise.
We may travel as needed to support operational requirements.
