AWS DevOps Engineer

Role OverviewWe are seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer with strong Linux, cloud, automation, and CI/CD experience to support and enhance cloud-based microservices environments.

The role involves hands-on DevOps, DevSecOps, automation, monitoring, and L1/L2 operational support.

Key Responsibilities

Support and automate cloud infrastructure and microservices environments

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code

Manage AWS services and containerized workloads

Perform scripting and automation to reduce manual operations

Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years Linux/Unix system administration and scripting

Strong AWS experience (EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, CloudFront)

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Helm, kops, kubeadm

CI/CD tools:

Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions

Infrastructure as Code:

Terraform, CloudFormation

Configuration management:

Ansible (or similar)

Scripting:

Bash and Python

Experience supporting microservices and n-tier systems

Monitoring tools:

Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, EFK/Kibana

Version control:

Git/GitHub

Familiarity with Agile, Jira, Confluence
