Duration:12 Months- Long term
Your primary task will be to support business continuity of research and quality control laboratories by interfacing lab instruments to data management system.
You will be responsible for planning and implementing lab-specific digitalization projects in close cooperation with lab users, internal IT colleagues and external companies.
You will manage incident/change/project request assigned to you according priority and use agile methodologies and tools such as Kanban board, Confluence Jira ticketing system to document your activities.
What We Look for (Skills)
You have a IT degree or equivalent experience.
You have good knowledge of Linux operating system
You have good programming skills in modern programming languages preferably python
You have experience with interfacing lab instrumentation using RS232, USB and Modbus.
You understand cyber-security basic principles and segregated IT network concept.
You are familiar with agile methodologies and additionally familiarize yourself with new topics quickly.
You are a creative and communicative person with a well-organized and solution-oriented working style. You're effective written and verbal communication skills help you to function confidently within an international and multicultural environment and you look forward to working within an interdisciplinary team.
Knowledge of Azure IoT environment, edge device such as Raspberry pi and LIMS are a plus
