Material Handler

ITS has a client seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Material Handler in Lorain, OH.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials and ensuring efficient operations within our facility. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, precision, and teamwork.

Special Requirements

Must pass all Work Keys testing requirements prior to accepting the position.

Must become, and remain, Forklift Qualified. This requires successfully passing a Written Qualification Test and an observed Practical Test on the type of forklift(s) used on the job.

Tools and Equipment The role involves the use of various tools and equipment, including but not limited to:

Hand Tools:Utility knife, common hand tools, air nailer, stapler, drill, table saw, other types of saws, tape machine, tape measure, and bander.

Machines and Equipment:

Forklift, standup lift, picker, scale, crane, pallet jack, CRT terminal, bar coding equipment, DHL, UPS, and RPS scales.

Key Responsibilities

Recognize and identify various parts and address part shortages and inventory issues.

Lift heavy weights up to 70 pounds repetitively and climb ladders as needed.

Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and learn to read documentation accurately.

Learn and utilize the Liebert Enterprise System (LES).

Qualifications

Detail-oriented with the ability to work flexible and sometimes long hours as required.

Maintain regular attendance and work effectively in a team environment.
