Job Title:

Manufacturing Associate / Materials Associate / Functional Technician

Location:

Westborough, MA and North Reading, MA (100% Onsite)

Hours:

Monday Friday, 3:30 PM 11:30 PM EST and 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM EST

Duration: 9 months contract

Start Date:

ASAP

Pay Range:

$15 to $18 per hour with bonus of $600.

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable team members to support manufacturing operations through assembly, materials handling, and functional testing of mechanical, electrical, and robotic systems.

This role involves rotating across production, inventory, and testing functions to support overall operational efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical, electrical, and robotic components using hand and power tools

Perform basic wiring, integration, and functional testing of assemblies

Receive, move, store, and deliver materials to production areas

Support part kitting and maintain accurate inventory and production records

Identify and report assembly or equipment issues and support troubleshooting activities

Follow standardized work instructions, quality procedures, and safety guidelines

Maintain clean and organized work areas while supporting cross-functional production needs

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read basic diagrams, instructions, and technical documentation

Comfortable standing, lifting (up to 40 lbs), and performing repetitive tasks during shifts

Basic computer skills for production or inventory tracking systems

Reliable attendance and ability to adapt to changing production needs

Strong teamwork and willingness to learn multiple processes

Preferred Qualifications

Prior manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or materials handling experience

Experience with electrical or mechanical assembly or testing

Forklift certification or technical training is a plus (training may be provided)
