Job description

Expected Duration: 6 months (to start with)

Location: Plattsburgh, NY

Highly desired the following qualification:

Experience in the rail industry for at least 5 years

Experience on NJT Multilevel train project either in design or manufacturing

Hands on work experience on production support on Work instructions, MODs, CRs, QNs etc.

Hands on harness design or manufacturing knowledge (specific to Electrical Methods Engineer)

Hands on experience on Catia V5 (expert level), 3D-COM / ENOVIA, PDM, SAP VSM, SAP GSI

Desired Knowledge / Experience

8-10 years experience in Manufacturing background with preferably in the railway industry.

Technical experience of Process Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, MODs, CRs, QNs etc.

Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up

Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics.

Educational Requirements

Associate Degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering

English (read, written, spoken)
