Middleware Engineer with Java expertise

Requirements

Must have:

- Extensive hands-on experience with WebLogic Server, MQ, SOA Suite, and Oracle Forms/Reports - In-depth understanding of application servers, clustering, deployments, and middleware architecture - Proficient in Linux and Windows administration, including patching and troubleshooting - Practical experience with Tomcat, JBoss, Apache HTTP Server, and Kafka - Strong skills in shell scripting and configuration management tools such as Ansible - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across teams

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and maintain middleware products, such as WebLogic Server, MQ, SOA Suite, and Oracle Forms & Reports - Establish and configure JDBC Data Sources to enable backend database connectivity - Handle daily administrative duties, including installation, configuration, clustering, and application deployments - Monitor system performance, assess metrics, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement enhancements - Diagnose and resolve issues pertaining to server performance, alerts, and software patches on both Windows and Linux - Provide support for environments utilizing WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, JBoss, and Kafka - Identify and rectify problems relating to shell scripts, Ansible templates, system operations, and application efficiency - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, scripts, deployment guides, and operational procedures - Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams across different locations
