Module Process Engineer

Apple is looking for a Module Process Engineer to join Display Module Technology team! We are responsible for developing new innovative manufacturing process technologies to solve complex design challenges that have a direct impact to future products, quality and delivery of Apple Displays \u0026 Touch technology.

The individual in this role will serve as a focal point in the process development of advanced key process modules from the concept/architecture stage through product engineering validation builds! We work at a fast pace and require everyone to be highly motivated. A successful candidate needs to be a flexible thinker and be able to problem solve outside of their respective technical area.

Process technology feasibility studies through theoretical simulation and/or practical engineering methods\\nProcess Development\\nLeads design and development of technically complex manufacturing processes including material selection, parameter optimization, equipment, metrology and system design to enable new products designs \u0026 functional requirements.\\nDevelop Process for Manufacturability - Provide early and on-going manufacturing leadership to ensure new process is scalable for high volume\\nProcess FMEA - Lead PFMEA generation for new process technology\\nFailure Analysis - Lead root cause analysis and metrology development for issues related to new process technology\\nCross-functional interaction with Product Design, Display Engineering, Display Operations and international vendors\\nKeep abreast of relevant industrial process \u0026 material manufacturing technical trends

B.S. degree minimum in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science or related field and 3 years of relevant industry experience.\\nExperience in the development of module processes \u0026 its integration in back-end processes of Display \u0026 Touch industry or other related industries. Typical processes include liquid or film type of adhesion lamination, fine-pitch electrical interconnection, high accuracy coating dispense, and component shaping.\\nExperience in DOE, data analysis, or SPC control.\\nExperience in failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem solving for product yield and quality issue.\\nAbility for International business travel to support project implementation and collaborate with external vendors for product manufacturing.

Ph.D. degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, with 5+ years of experience in related field preferred.\\nExperience in leading a project from early development to high volume production.\\nProject Management Skills- Excellent data handling, documentation, critical milestone creation, and organization skill.\\nExcellent written \u0026 verbal communication skills and demonstrated leadership ability.
