Japanese-Speaking Assistant Teacher (Toddler Classroom)
Montessori International Academy (MIA)
Santa Ana, California
Join a School Where Children—and Teachers—Grow Together
Montessori International Academy (MIA) is a Japanese-English bilingual Montessori school founded in Costa Mesa, California, in 2010.
Our mission is to provide an environment where children are respected, teachers are valued, and everyone continues to grow together. Today, MIA serves children from Toddler through Elementary on our beautiful Santa Ana campus, where Japanese and English are naturally woven into daily learning.
At MIA, we believe every child has unlimited potential. Rather than teaching children what to think, we guide them to become independent thinkers, compassionate leaders, and lifelong learners. We carefully observe each child, prepare an environment that meets their individual needs, and support their growth with patience, respect, and encouragement.
We also believe that teachers thrive in the same kind of environment. At MIA, we work as one team, learn from one another, celebrate each other's strengths, and support one another through challenges. We value kindness, professionalism, open communication, and mutual respect. Together, we create a peaceful, joyful community where both children and educators flourish.
