Network Automation Engineer - Python & DevOps

For our client, we are seeking a Network Automation Engineer - Python & DevOps to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will focus on building automation that streamlines network operations, reduces manual effort, and improves reliability across critical infrastructure. You will partner closely with network engineering, QA, and other technical stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that support modern delivery practices and AI-driven initiatives. The position blends Python development, DevOps, and network automation in a highly collaborative environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $123,500 – $205,800 annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with network engineers to create automation solutions that minimize manual tasks
• Develop network automation solutions using Python
• Build and support REST APIs with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework
• Create infrastructure-as-code solutions with automated testing and documentation
• Integrate automated testing into build and deployment pipelines with QA teams
• Maintain and enhance end-to-end CI/CD pipelines
• Support AI initiatives within the network organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of Python development experience
• 3+ years of DevOps experience
• Strong experience with Python-based network automation
• Experience with Django and Django REST Framework
• Experience building end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Familiarity with Ansible, Ansible Vault, and configuration management tools
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP
