A.
Mandatory Qualifications - Must show a minimum of three (3) years of experience:
(1) Professional experience configuring and trouble-shooting Juniper and Cisco routers, switches and firewall;
(2) Professional experience configuring and trouble-shooting VMwareNSX and its use within the data center context;
(3) Professional experience configuring and trouble-shooting Fortinet firewall implementations;
(4) Experience with Data Center architectural design, network deployment planning and network equipment installation;
(5) Experience with advanced network trouble-shooting, architecture and design;
(6) Professional experience configuring and trouble-shooting with several open standard routing protocols, such as RIPv2, IS-IS,OSPF, and BGPv4;
(7) Installation and maintenance of Cisco Internetwork Operating Systems and Juniper Junos OS;
(8) Documentation of network modifications /or troubleshooting process changes;
(9) Analysis and design of network alternatives;
(10) Experience with wireless, VoIP, QoS and MPLS technologies;
(11) Experience in evaluation, deployment and management of managed services;
(12) Testing and verification of a conceptual lab capable of supporting MPLS, QoS, encryption, IPSEC, and content load balancing (ACE modules);
(13) Experience leading an installation team;
(14) Working knowledge of industry standards and Project Management Institute (PMI).
B.
(1) Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and best practices in the principles and operations of network architecture and design;
(2) Knowledge and practical application of best practices in Project Management as outlined in the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge;
(3) Ability to conduct business activities in a professional manner leading to superior customer satisfaction;
(4) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision from the Section Supervisor or designee.
Tasks for this Agreement will be identified and approved via Work Authorizations (Exhibit A-2).
Under the direction of the CDT Contract Manager, Contractor shall perform the following tasks, but not limited to:
A. Troubleshooting of hardware/software platforms/applications and network core, distribution and access layers;
B. Installation and maintenance of Juniper and Cisco Internetwork Operating Systems;
C. Documentation and evaluation of security practices for Firewall and IPS services;
D. Configuration and trouble-shooting tasks related to the design of encryption, IPSEC and content load balancing services;
E.
Management of all services performed based on the methodologies described in the Department of Finance Statewide Information Management Manual, industry best practices, and/or the Project Management Institute methodologies;
F. Training and knowledge transfer for CDT on all aspects of the planning and execution of all projects and assignments related to this SOW;
G. Written documentation/procedures of all projects and assignments related to this SOW.
