Network Engineer, Datacenter Operations II

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience - Minimum of 5 years in Network Services - Proven ability to ensure high availability and quality in network routing and switching, IP security, and wide area network services - Ability to obtain and maintain NIH/CIT Public Trust clearance - CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred - Familiarity with security measures is advantageous

Responsibilities:

- Ensure optimal availability and performance of network routing, switching, and IP security services - Engage in daily stand-ups and apply kanban methodology to address and resolve incidents within established SLAs - Act as a shift lead when assigned, facilitating efficient issue assignment and resolution - Support proactive initiatives including network monitoring, analysis, maintenance, patching, and documentation - Provide management with recommendations for continuous improvement regarding communication, tools, technology, and equipment
