One-on-One Student Aide

Position Detail

• One position available for the 2025-2026 school year at the Elementary
• 5 days a week (Monday - Friday) 8:00 – 2:25 p.m.
• Working one-on-one with a special needs student
• Supervising student in the classroom and on the playground, as needed.
• Assisting teacher with instruction

Qualifications – Preferred:

• Successful completion of 60 college credits or
• Graduate with an Associate’s degree from a university or college or
• Demonstrate knowledge of reading, writing, and math by successful completion of the ACT WorkKeys or ParaPro Assessment

Skills and Experience

• Experience working with children, particularly special needs.
• Special Education experience preferred
• Patience, flexibility, and adaptability
• Educational coursework is preferred

This is a school calendar year temporary position, as needed. Position to be re-evaluated throughout the year and at the conclusion of the school year.
