OOP JavaScript Engineer

Location:

Durham, NC – Ideally want local candidates as 1st round interview is in-person (but will do WebEx)

Duration: 6 months + posibility to go FTE (Candidate MUST be comfortable with going Full Time)

This team is looking for a strong JavaScript developer. Someone who is able to understand the manipulation of pages, someone who has ideally been working with Digital Marketing and Measurement Technologies.

They will be working on a robust analytics platform (BE is Hadoop). They will be coding in HTML5, CSS3, OOP JavaScript, Angular, and Node. Any other JavaScript Libraries are a nice to have. MUST have Agile Experience. Sprint Cycles must NOT be longer that 2 weeks. Team of 6.

BIG BONUS for experience with:

Ensighten Manage, Adobe DTM, and Google Tag Manager (Please have candidate explain their work with these tools).

The position entails specific responsibility for integrating and maintaining multiple vendor products using customized scripting, expert front-end engineering skills, maintaining current industry knowledge of tag management systems, and rapid implementation of pilot products and customized solutions to scale measurement capabilities within the digital channel.

Qualifications

You know the difference in an evar and an s.prop (or at least GA premium and GA 360)

You are passionate about Digital Marketing and Measurement Technology (for real, we mean it)

You are a JavaScript Ninja and can write code that writes code at run time on a page you don't own

You have used Ensighten Manage, Adobe DTM, Google Tag Manager, or similar in a production capacity

You have a favorite code editor and a distinct point of view on the 'tabs versus spaces' debate

You're a go-getter you find creative ways to just get things done

You're an expert in JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3

You're a fanatic for prominent methodologies such as Scrum, extreme programming, continuous delivery, and quality code

You're excited by emerging technologies and learning new languages, but remain focused on delivery and customer value
