Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. A Masters degree is preferred.
  • Over 9 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a Technical Execution Lead, Project Execution, or a similar role overseeing complex hardware development processes.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the hardware engineering lifecycle, including familiarity with major hardware and simulation tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, and Siemens.
  • Proven track record of managing large initiatives across multiple time zones, employing standard execution methodologies like agile or waterfall.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively convey technical strategies and progress to both executive managers and technical experts.
  • Experience collaborating with legal or patent teams, or direct involvement in the invention disclosure process is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the complete execution lifecycle for AI hardware development, translating strategic plans into practical engineering phases and actionable tasks.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration among hardware, software engineering, IT, and external partners to interpret technical requirements and establish measurable project timelines.
  • Facilitate the deployment of enterprise AI tools to enhance the overall process of hardware design.
  • Manage the workflow for Intellectual Property capture, including budget forecasting and securing funding for the global patent portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Patent Chairs, the Patent Committee, Legal, and external counsel to govern the patent review process and maintain review timelines.
  • Organize review boards and track reviewer performances to prevent delays in technical evaluations.
  • Work closely with Engineering Subject Matter Experts to promote the application of advanced tool capabilities, particularly AI features.
  • Standardize tool usage and software versions across various engineering sites and downstream manufacturing locations.
  • Manage the global license repository by monitoring usage, compliance, and adoption across international offices.
  • Address and resolve critical action items for the Hardware Engineering leadership and team, ensuring effective follow-through and execution.
