5-7 year of experience in Oracle Exadata
Maintain EXADATA hardware.
Configure, Maintain and have troubleshooting skill in EXADATA Cell disk/Grid Disks, ILOM Servers, Infiniband swtiches.
Handled & supported 100+ Oracle databases.
Manage Users, Privileges and Roles.
Manage table spaces, data files, redo logs, tables and its segments.
Perform refresh and restore of databases on demand using the Oracle Datapump and the RMAN utilities.
Manage database security. Creating and assigning appropriate roles and privileges to users depending on the user activity
Maintain control files and redo log files
Have knowledge of oracle backup and recovery using RMAN utilities.
Day to day activities include proactive monitoring of the critical Production Databases. Also manual checking of the alertlogs, trace files etc.
Applying latest releases of the RDBMS patches using Opatch utility from Oracle on Production and test instance to resolve few technical challenges & issues
Have the ability to work with Oracle support personnel to troubleshoot Oracle bugs.
Have the ability to use Oracle metalink to resolve production support.
Have also worked on DB decommissioning task.
