Key Objectives
- Accurately enter and process customer orders into the company’s order management system.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Support data integrity by verifying order details and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements to enhance order processing efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Input customer orders into the software system with precision and speed.
- Verify and validate order information including product codes, quantities, pricing, and customer details.
- Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service to clarify and resolve order issues.
- Monitor order status and update relevant teams on any delays or changes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to order processing.
- Assist in generating reports related to order entry metrics and performance.
- Adhere to company policies and compliance standards throughout the order entry process.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in order entry, data entry, or administrative roles, preferably within the software or technology sector.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with order management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
