(OFE) Owner Furnished Equipment Coordinator – Data Centers

Overview The (OFE) Owner Furnished Equipment Coordinator is responsible for managing the engineering coordination, specification, procurement support, and delivery of Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE/OFCI) for hyperscale and mission-critical data center projects.

This role ensures electrical equipment packages meet project requirements, design standards, schedule milestones, and quality expectations while coordinating with design consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the engineering, procurement, and delivery of Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE/OFCI) for data center projects.
• Review and approve design documents, equipment submittals, and vendor technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain equipment specifications, Basis of Design (BOD) documents, and engineering standards.
• Support procurement through technical evaluations, vendor coordination, Factory Witness Testing (FWT/FAT), and equipment approvals.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, commissioning teams, and project management to ensure successful equipment integration.
• Monitor equipment schedules, procurement milestones, and delivery timelines to support construction and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical expertise for electrical infrastructure including UPS systems, standby generators, switchgear, and mission-critical power systems.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance reliability, efficiency, and operational performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience supporting the design, specification, or procurement of electrical systems for mission-critical data centers.
• 10+ years of overall experience in data center infrastructure or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems, diesel standby generators, switchgear, and electrical distribution systems.
• Experience with OFE/OFCI procurement, equipment specifications, vendor submittal reviews, FAT/FWT, and equipment acceptance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Adobe Acrobat.
• EIT certification preferred with progression toward PE licensure.
• Ability to work in active construction environments and travel between project sites as required.
• Valid driver's license required.
