Location: Local partner schoolsSchedule: 1–4 hours per week (after school)Program Length: Typically 10 weeksStart Dates: Programs launch throughout the school yearCompensation: $50+ per instructional hour, flexible based on assignment and instructor experienceTeach engaging enrichment classes that help students explore new interests and build real skills.Concorde Education partners with schools to provide high-quality after-school programs led by passionate instructors. In this role, you will lead structured, hands-on sessions that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity through coding and technology.Lead fun, interactive coding activities for students in a flexible, part-time role. Classes typically meet once per week for about one hour, though some instructors choose to teach multiple programs per week depending on their availability.Concorde Education is hiring engaging instructors to lead enrichment classes that help students build foundational programming skills and confidence with technology.Instructors lead structured enrichment lessons using weekly plans while adapting activities to the needs and interests of the students.Possible Class TopicsAssignments vary by school and may include:Introduction to Python programmingWriting simple Python scripts and programsCoding logic and problem-solving using PythonIntroduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptCreating and designing basic web pagesInteractive web elements and simple coding projectsIntroductory computer science conceptsCollaborative coding and project-based learningResponsibilitiesLead engaging after-school coding sessions for studentsFacilitate hands-on programming activities and projectsMaintain a positive, structured classroom environmentCoordinate with school staff and Concorde program contactsQualificationsMinimum 60 college credits completedExperience with Python programming and/or web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Experience working with youth (teaching, tutoring, camps, or after-school programs)Strong communication and group facilitation skillsReliable, punctual, and professionalWho This Role Is Great ForMany of our instructors are:Current or former teachers and educatorsCollege or graduate students studying computer science, technology, or educationSoftware developers, engineers, or tech professionals who enjoy teachingPython programmers or coding hobbyists who enjoy mentoring studentsTutors, camp counselors, and youth program leaders
