Job description-Required Skills (must have): Performance : Non Functional Testing (NFT); Domain : INS; Performance Engineer : Core Java, Load Runner, Performance Testing; Guidewire knowledge is added advantage
# of years of Experience required: 6+
A minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in performance testing and should have Insurance domain knowledge
Understand Application architecture, the components & interfaces involved and their technology stacks
Conduct workshop to gather/review Non-functional requirements from relevant stakeholders
Identify the performance objectives, scenarios and prioritize the scenarios
Develop performance test strategy and review & get sign off from required stakeholders
Develop/Review performance test scripts using LoadRunner/JMeter/Gatling/LoadUI
Execute the planned performance tests and monitor the tests for high level observations
Leverage APM tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics for application & Infrastructure performance monitoring
Analyze test results and highlight deviations from the Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Assist with Troubleshooting along with the other support teams
Conduct Assessment and identify gaps in performance testing engagements and provide recommendations to bridge the gaps
Standardize Performance Test process, establish PT artifacts templates & implement PT best practices
Conduct PT tool assessment and propose new tool solutions for gaps/challenges
Maintained flexible work schedules driven by test environment availability
Co-ordinate with offshore teams and external teams
