Essential Functions of the Job:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
At least 4 years of experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
Good Communication and Analytical Skills.
Should have good experience of Performance Tuning. Should able to tune slow running queries.
Should able to understand the deadlock issues and resolve them.
Should able to implement business requirements in DB object like packages/procedure/triggers/view.
Should have good knowledge of Materialized views and partitioning.
Should have good knowledge of using analytical functions to retrieve proper data from database.
Hands on experience in using SQL Developer.
Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
lead technical discussions with customer SME and stakeholders
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Experience on using Toad, SQL Plus tools.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to balance and prioritize responsibilities toward meeting established deadlines. All within a dynamic, project-oriented environment.
Willingness to work in a collaborative environment
Highly organized but willing to adjust direction when necessary
Ability to lead large complex projects with limited direction.
Financial services and / or investment banking industry experience is preferred.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
