Process Engineer

The Process Engineer is responsible for development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard Work Instructions (SWI), identifying and implementing improvement projects, conducting root cause analysis for production and maintenance issues, and collaborating with the operations team on program deliverables.

Additionally, you will be involved in equipment evaluation, compliance with standards and legislation, and mentoring and training newer team members.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with and troubleshooting robotics / controls systems, Control Logix PLCs and plant application controls and automation.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD software.
• Good oral and written communication skills. Must exhibit professional and courteous communication / interaction under pressure.
• Able to effectively work with external machine builders and system integrators for detail design, build and integration of later stages of machine system implementation.
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of self-motivation.
• Demonstrated technical project management experience.
• Strong logical and methodical reasoning capabilities.
• Solid understanding of safety systems design.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple issues in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
