The Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing manufacturing and production processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure processes meet operational and regulatory standards.
Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Design, develop, and implement efficient production processes
Monitor process performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure consistent output
Conduct process simulations, testing, and validation
Optimize resource utilization, reduce waste, and improve productivity
Prepare process documentation, SOPs, and technical reports
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations
Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams
Support new product introductions and scale-up activities
Use data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Proven experience as a Process Engineer or similar role (industry-dependent)
Strong understanding of manufacturing/process systems
Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies
Proficiency in data analysis and process modeling software
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma certification
Experience with automation or process control systems
Knowledge of industry-specific standards (ISO, GMP, etc.)
