JOB SUMMARY:

Operate and maintain the Dry process in order to produce quality zirconia in a safe manner

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of the Dry Process Operator include but are not limited to the following: 1. Employee is regularly exposed to production environment of noise and dust 2. Employee may be exposed to cold temperatures and/or extreme heat at times 3. Employee will be regularly exposed to hazardous materials

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Insure that the zirconia is properly identified at all times and in the proper containers for safe transporting and processing.
• Load and discharge the blender as instructed in a safe manner. 3. Process those materials designated through the classifier and mills as instructed while protecting the quality of the product. 4. Perform chemical analysis and particle size analysis on CF-Super and S930 materials as per SOP 001, SOP 002 and SOP Make adjustments to the classifier based upon particle size results.

6. Package the finished product in the required containers.

7. Move the packaged product to the specified storage areas.

8. Perform quality checks on the materials as required, utilizing the Particle Size Analyzer.

9. Take samples of finished product for chemical analysis.

10. Maintain all required data logs and sheets.

11. Perform all operator required maintenance.

12. Inform the relief person of all systems conditions and status. 13.

Keep Shift

Supervisor informed of all matters related to the job responsibilities.

14. Exercise good housekeeping habits.

15. Observe all safety rules and regulations.

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in other production areas where required. 2. Assist in major repair functions.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to speak, read and write English at high school level and perform basic math functions. 2 Ability to learn and memorize product codes, package codes and product grades 3. Ability to demonstrate good communication skills 4. Ability to follow instructions 5.

Ability to use basic mechanics hand tools 6. Ability to work with limited supervision 7. Ability to prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions 8. Ability to operator a forklift truck 1. Ability to stand, stoop, twist, turn and work over the head 2.

Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds repeatedly 3. Ability to mount/dismount forklift 4. Ability to wear a respirator 5. Ability to climb long flights of stairs and ladders
