- *Position Overview**
The ideal candidate is flexible, highly organized, and an effective communicator with strong leadership instincts. This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Due to the nature of the work, the role can be physically demanding and involves active participation in packing, organizing, and distributing food supplies.

- *Key Responsibilities
- *Program Operations
- Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and efficiency
- Coordinate and oversee weekly food packing and distribution
- Manage offsite pantry locations, including inventory and restocking
- Lead and support volunteer groups during packing sessions and outreach activities
- Maintain accurate volunteer records, including hours and participation tracking
- Oversee food donation programs, including receiving, sorting, and inventory management
- Maintain confidential program records and ensure data accuracy
- Assist with and execute program-specific initiatives, including school breaks and special distributions
- *Fundraising & Community Engagement
- Maintain donor outreach records and assist with correspondence
- Support fundraising efforts and special events as needed
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with community partners and supporters
- *Administrative & Communications Support
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct messages appropriately
- Assist with social media and website updates in coordination with the Executive Director
- Maintain marketing materials and assist with outreach efforts
- *General Operations
- Assist with donation pickups, mail collection, and other errands as needed
- Support general building upkeep, including light cleaning and organization
- Jump in wherever needed—this role requires flexibility and a team-first mindset
- Perform other duties as assigned
- *Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and engage volunteers in a positive and productive way
- Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with databases and social media platforms
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and adapt
- Previous nonprofit, volunteer coordination, or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift and move boxes (up to 25–40 lbs) and be on your feet for extended periods
