Must have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes, alongside work measurement and work standards - Proficient in technical writing with excellent documentation skills; a keen attention to detail is essential - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings - Prior experience in an ISO-9000 or AS-9000 environment is advantageous - Strong analytical skills with the capability to plan, address issues effectively, and set priorities - Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DOE), Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing is preferred - Intermediate proficiency in computer skills including email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Microsoft Project - Exceptional communication skills to engage with customers and reflect a positive company image - Negotiation and conflict management abilities, with demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving - Energetic and adaptable, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently - Abilities as outlined in the General Requirements for Team Members
Responsibilities:
- Actively engage in all team meetings to provide necessary technical support and serve as a connection to other technical departments - Conduct labor efficiency analyses and recommend/implement changes to enhance standards and improve overall efficiency - Review and authorize all configuration changes - Participate actively in the change board process - Process (disposition) discrepant material tickets for assigned products - Analyze first pass yield, defects, scrap, and customer returns for assigned products and respond accordingly - Perform root cause analysis and suggest corrective actions for all issues related to assigned programs/products - Ensure that work instructions for all assigned products are complete, thorough, and effective, while also reviewing employee suggestions for enhancements - Validate the accuracy of manufacturing routers - Verify that labor standards are correct - Ensure the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM) is accurate and comprehensive - Address requests and inquiries from the production team - Provide inputs to the Bids and Proposals Department - Collaborate with component engineering to assist procurement in identifying and evaluating potential alternate components - Create
