- *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
▸ Market Opportunity Sizing: Build US market models by vertical using trade data (HS codes, USITC) and internal platform signals — size white-spaces, prioritize investment, and frame opportunity for leadership
▸ HQ Liaison: Translate US buyer and seller realities into HQ-ready briefs for Hangzhou product and growth teams — own the Americas voice in global planning cycles
▸ Business Reviews: Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews — own the narrative, data, and follow-up actions; hold cross-functional teams accountable to commitments
▸ Budget & Resource Allocation: Support channel spend decisions with scenario modeling — CAC efficiency vs. growth rate trade-offs, vertical investment prioritization
- *REQUIRED BACKGROUND — NON-NEGOTIABLE**
▸ Tech Company or IB / Consulting: Candidates without e-commerce experience must have 4+ years at a top-tier investment bank (M&A, TMT) or strategy consulting firm (MBB / Big 4 Strategy) with significant tech or retail sector coverage — financial modeling and structured problem-solving are baseline expectations
▸ Cross-Functional Program Ownership: Direct experience managing programs across 3+ functions with documented on-time delivery and KPI accountability — not project support
▸ Quantitative Rigor: Able to build market sizing models, run scenario analyses, and interpret funnel data independently — SQL or Python a strong plus The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $94,800/year and $156,000/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
