Apex SystemsQBE is looking for a Program Manager to drive delivery of the North America Reinsurance Modernization Program, coordinating across global teams and multiple technical and business workstreams.
This role requires strong communication, cross‑regional alignment, and the ability to manage complex enterprise initiatives from planning through execution.
Project Scope The Program Manager will oversee delivery of several major workstreams, including:
Migration of reinsurance contracts and historical data from Prosume and DWH into Duck Creek
Delivery of functional enhancements and adoption of a new Duck Creek Reinsurance version
Updates to global reinsurance subsystems to support NAO data
Integrations with GL, earnings engine, and payment processing
Business process redesign and readiness
Integration of gross policy and loss data
Technical services and infrastructure coordination
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones
Track risks, issues, dependencies, and overall program health
Deliver clear communication to team members and senior stakeholders
Support budget creation, forecasting, and cost‑benefit analysis (no direct budget ownership)
Partner closely with workstream leads across:
Technical services & infrastructure
Business process & readiness
Team & Stakeholder Management
Ensure appropriate resources are engaged for each workstream
Facilitate communication across North America, London, and India
Support knowledge sharing across a newer BAU North America team
Escalate issues to leadership when needed
Required Skills & Experience
Technical & Professional
Proven experience delivering large, complex programs (business + IT)
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA (highly beneficial)
Reinsurance experience strongly preferred
Duck Creek Reinsurance experience preferred
Excellent stakeholder management across Business, IT, and global teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead business‑driven initiatives with clarity and confidence
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive
