Overview A well-established and growing industrial construction firm is seeking a Project Engineer to support a high-performing project team. This role provides hands-on exposure to large-scale industrial construction projects and offers broad visibility across multiple functional areas of project execution.
The Project Engineer will work closely with experienced industry leaders and collaborate with clients, field supervision, and internal operations teams.
Project & Operational Support
Support core project functions across Project Controls, Estimating, Purchasing, and Tool & Equipment teams
Participate in construction operations meetings and ongoing project coordination activities
Assist with interpreting craft labor agreements and various contract delivery methods
Commercial & Risk Awareness
Develop a working understanding of commercial terms, contract conditions, and risk management strategies
Understand and communicate limitations of authority related to project risk
Safety & Quality
Perform weekly safety audits and actively participate in daily safety planning
Support company safety incentive programs and quality initiatives
Participate in Quality Action Teams
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain professional relationships through regular client interaction and engagement
Support marketing plans and project pursuits as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
0–4 years of experience in a Project Engineer or similar construction-related role
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Demonstrated interest in developing a long-term career in industrial construction.
